The friendship between Žilvinas Landzbergas and Axel Linderholm developed over the course of the past decade. Throughout time, they have had many conversations that have (unconsciously) become precursors or sketches for Studio Double V. Remembered, not quite remembered and sometimes totally forgotten thoughts fuel the dynamic of working with and alongside each other in W139 - their studio, for now. This studio, conceived as an idealistic and real place, offers space and risk to create new paintings, sculptures and collaborative installations. It is precisely because of this process-oriented approach that the exhibition has taken on a playful and energetic form.
